at the counter, i was asked for "koi supporting document to hoga". anticipating that, i had taken a print of my university going kid's offer letter + CRA tuition/enrolment form for 2023, and school going kid's report card. they lapped it up.

So just the indian origin proof and current passport is required to upload

is anyone on the same boat as me? My wife's OCI was dispatched from Delhi on 02-Apr. However, it is not received in Toronto after all these days. My toddler son's OCI was dispatched on 10-Apr. Does this have an impact on receiving OCI? We applied on individual basis and not as family.

When you submit the application to BLS along with the above (for kids), you need to include the NOC which has to be signed by both parent and there photographs have to be attached. If you are submitting it to BLS in person carry all the originals...

Surrendered Indian Passport
Current Canadian Passport
I have tuition fees receipt as proof of being a student and I can upload that for work/employment

uploading this tuition CRA form - optional, but definitely have it handy when you visit them.
along with PPs - i merged IN PP surr cert with IN PP into one pdf, and merged CA citizenship cert with CA PP in one pdf. they want it, but no separate tag to upload these.

OCI Registration part B ; we have a question
Have you/any member of your family applied for Overseas Citizen of India registration earlier? *

My Brother and family ( sister in law and niece ) all are USA citizen and got their OCI few years back ; so do i need to mention OCI details for all of them or only brother or none ( its only for immediate family i.e. wife , kid, parents ) and not sibling

I said yes when I was filling up my daughters application because I and my son got OCIs in 2022

tuition cert - not mandatory but depends on the clerk's mood/knowledge/paranoia
surr cert & citizen cert - absolutely mandatory to submit - these are a part of the checklist. whether or not to upload these - don't know, as my (successful) OCI application had these included in online uploads

Family consists of self, spouse and minor children only (definition copied from an OCI website).
