do I need to go any office in India to update status from evisa to OCI if someone send OCI for me ??

But there should be a 4 days of gap minimum between your e-visa application date and your port of entry date.
Otherwise, the system won't let you submit the e-visa application.

My flight is on 13th and 14th arrival at Delhi, I was applying yesterday for e-visa as the backup option since there was no confirmation on my OCI card till yesterday. I was not able to apply for the e-visa.

Luckily, I got the OCI update this morning, otherwise I would have to reschedule my flight.

Our travel date is first week of May.

Hi, I am a foreign national who was residing in India. My OCI was applied and processed in India (Kolkata) and I received it while living in India.
Currently, I am living in Canada and I need a reissuance of OCI as I have received a new passport (after the age of 20). I have filled out the OCI miscellaneous form but the form has FRRO Kolkata mentioned on it. So my question is, can I submit this OCI miscellaneous applicant form at a BLS in Canada for it to be processed? Or does it need to be submitted in Kolkata for processing? Please help. I am very worried.

Where could I see this tracking ? Also, date of acknowledgement is the same as date of application submission at BLS ? Or do we get an email from consulate saying they received our. application ?

Since you are residing in Canada, you should complete the online form under the Miscellaneous section and then submit the online form and then submit the form to BLS for further processing
Must select the correct Indian High Commission / Consulate, based on the place where you reside in Canada and the Consular jurisdiction of Indian High Commission / Consulate https://www.cgitoronto.gov.in/page/oci-renewal-and-updation/

Forewarning have a lot of patience dealing with BLS.

• Wait for 20+ days(from the date BLS starts showing processing at consulate general) to check your application status on https://ociservices.gov.in/statusEnqury
• After these 20+ days you will receive the Acknowledgement
• After a few days of Acknowledgement, dates against Documents Printing Status, Dispatched From MEA (OCI), Document received At will start getting populated.

OCI processing times vary between Toronto, Ottawa, Vancouver jurisdiction. The above timelines are tentative, w.r.t Toronto jurisdiction processing.

That means BLS has received your passport and they be ready to courier it to you if you have selected that option
I would suggest start tracking the purolator website using the CANTxxxxxx
Usually should take a day or 2 to update on the BLS website.

After many days the application shows on BLS website tracking for OCI postal application.(envelope was delivered by Purolator on Thursday April 11th at Brampton) Toronto jurisdiction.
