My oci was processed on Nov30; i do see OCI document number but the other 2 fields; sent from MEA and received at BLS is still blank

My 3 applications were also processed on 30 Nov. One has Dec 2 in other 2 fields, one has today's date & they are blank for third one.

Congrats @Sammzk. Ottawa seeing better processing time after e-visa started again. From peak of 10 weeks came down to 7 weeks now.

@RITUPAL @tetalks - Any update about your OCI?

@forw.jane my OCI was processed on 23/11 and received on Ottawa on 30/11. I opted for a pickup at BLS, and the BLS status now says Delivered by Hand in two lines. What does it even mean? Is this normal -- BLS takes time to process pickups? Thanks.

"Delivered by hand" means somebody collected it from BLS.
Normally it moves to "Ready for Collection" and once you collect it, it moves to "Delivered by hand"

Date of app Oct 31st, walk-in at Brampton
Date of acknowledgment Dec 5th

“OCI process goes through a clearance process from the Ministry of Home Affairs, which cannot be interfered with. We sympathize with your situation and will give your request due priority.



Please send a reminder after 8 weeks of your application at oci.toronto@mea.gov.in”

You got the stock reply meant for fresh OCI applications. You can show up at next openhouse (Wednesday's afternoon) and try to push for a quicker processing as its a PIO to OCI conversion. That said, the least painful process may be to just make an evisa and let the OCI process play out on its own.

Got processed on OCI Status Eqnuiry. Documents dispatched from Delhi on Dec 5. ( Check the remaining dates and details in my signature ).

Hey Raj, When you check status on BLS website, we need to input Canada's Passport No to check the status ?

HI Guys, a question when the oci application retunred, do we need to re-submit with new application fee or just fulfill the shortcomings ?

I have submitted the OCI for my daughter and in the questioner (have you or your family has OCI- I have selected NO, actually I do).

While submitting at BLS center she highlighted above error but said that's okay we can process just like that and won't attach my OCI card with the application. But while submitting online i have attached my OCI card. Now i guess it may get rejected/returned.

Please advise, if anyone's comes across such scenario, application has returned with any reason and did they paid the new fees or just need to correct the application and resubmit without fees.
