I dont think there is definite/verifiable answer to that.
1 you may mention unemployed and probably upload/send a LOE explaining that.
2. you can say you are employed and send your last offer letter. I dont think they are verifying it. (my opinion)

Ideally, they shouldnt be asking for our employment records as they have no business there. BUT i guess the babu metality still thrives.

Guys I need guidance based on real time experience
I'm currently unemployed and I'm confused filling up the employment details section of the online OCI application. Can anyone guide me which option to choose from the drop down menu and what online documents need to be uploaded along with physical documents?
Occupation ?
Employer details?
Employer address?... etc...

Any updates on Vancouver applications ? I submitted on Oct 4 and Ack date is Oct 17th . Still under processing.

I went in person to BLS Montreal to inquire about my weird appl. status on their site, and my OCI was lying in the tray.

I picked up my OCI .. and finally, my immigration journey is complete!!!

Which is the better OCI tracker to use? BLS or OCIServices.gov.in?

Initially OCI tracker and once Processed, BLS tracker to know details about dispatch

11-Oct Ack is where the Vancouver OCI tracker is stuck. Looks like they all went on vacation at the same time.

while booking pickup & drop off service on BLS website, by default it is taking original drop off service and adding 30$ at the end for it. And if i understand correctly we don't have to submit any originals for the OCI application. How to skip this original drop off service?

Thank you so much for the great work being done here!

Received my OCI card today (5Th Dec) in Toronto.

Funny thing was Purolator collected it from BLS Brampton but I had applied at BLS Toronto walkin. Didn't affect me as I was not going to pick it up from BLS anyway but if I had wanted to then it would have been an issue.

Once again, thanks a ton for all the great work you guys are doing here!!

Instead of doing it online you can call BLS and do it.
