Any idea on Vancouver timelines? I received Ack within a week (application submitted 27th, ack Oct 04) but now waiting for processing.. My tickets are booked for Oct 27th.. You think it will come by than? What is current trend? I lost hope in getting Evisa (applied on 19th Sep and status shows processed but no further details or PDF)

I like to be honest. The chance of having an OCI card by then is very slim. no one knows when the Indian government will start processing visas again.

Could you share the timeline (applied, ack and processed dates) here please -- I would like to add it to my tracker.

After the processed step, in a couple of days the OCI card will get delivered to BLS office (the status will show that), and then they dispatch it.

All visas for Canadian citizens are suspended.

When did you apply? Its about 13 days for ack right now, but there could be a few days delay depending on how quickly BLS transferred it to the consulate etc.

I applied on 23rd Sep.. it was a walk in application at bls brampton. Its been 17 days now and no acknowledgement

my acknowledgement date is for sept 15th. Its for OCI renwal. I got no update on the OCI website. Anyone in the same situation ??

Your e-visa was probably almost ready when the suspension hit. Very unfortunate. Vancouver timeline looks similar to Toronto (ack is much faster) so there is some hope for it to get processed by end of October. do you have pickup option in Vancouver BLS? There are some Vancouver applicants still waiting after Sep 1 acknowledgement though.. (E.g., @Mickeyy @sunil hans)

Feel your pain, I'm in a similar situation, but about a month later when prices are even crazier. If you could, consider postponing the trip by a month to give time for the OCI process. Change fee for most tickets is usually the same until the day of the flight, but availability changes as you get closer to the travel date and prices go up too.
