what does it mean?

That means, yours is still not delivered to BLS. Once they receive it, it will sit there for 24-36hrs, then they will mail it to your home address

My OCI just got delivered , my Journey is nw completed

I see my booklet cover is lighter blue in color, not as dark as how other passports are

Yes.. i called them. it's Purolator tracking number.. hoping to get it on Monday..

You will have provide source and reason to bring it. Interview will be conducted. If they are not satsfied they will cease it.

Hi,
I received my Canadian Citizenship in June and have applied for the passport. My question is around surrender of Indian passport and OCI.

• If I directly apply for OCI with my Indian passport would it also cover surrender of the Indian passport in the same application? I will not have a surrender certificate in that case. If yes would i have to pay for both OCI and surrender separately?
• If I apply for surrender certificate first, get it, and then apply for OCI then it asks for the Indian passport but i will no longer have that with me?

In most jurisdictions (if not all) you first need to apply for Surrender Certificate & can apply for OCI only after you get SC.

You can go through previous posts. You will get all details.

1) In Canada, no longer you can apply OCI without surrender certificate, if you are claiming OCI based on your previous Nationality i.e. Self.

2) you can apply for surrender before getting Canadian passport

3) To apply OCI , Copy of Surrender Certificate and copy of the Canadian passport are Mandatory.

So no way you can apply together as it is no longer accepted. Some applied entry visa / tourist visa along with surrender certificate. But Surrender and OCI together no longer allowed.

4) Surrender in person can be paid by Debit card or DD or Money order

5) OCI no direct payment allowed , only DD or Money order in the name of consular general or high commission based on your Jurisdiction.

6) OCI asks for Surrender Indian Passport copies of the stamp showing surrender ( you will have a full page stamp that says it is canceled due to acquiring foreign citizenship). So you will have your surrendered passport I.e. stamped with cancelation.
