OCI was finally picked up via walk in yesterday - was ready 2 weeks ago, but was travelling so couldn't pick up earlier. Timelines as below, for Brampton:

OCI applied (walk in): 28.07.22
OCI updated on website: 09.08.22
OCI ready for pickup: 02.09.2022

Hi All, We submitted OCI applications(for myself, my wife and kid) on August 26th in Brampton BLS center(Walk in application).

On BLS website it says application is in progress at Consulate General. On OCI website we still see no record found.

Does it take longer than 3 weeks to acknowledge our application on OCI status website. Did anyone apply on same date at Brampton saw the acknowledgement. Thanks.

We booked our tickets to India on November 15th. Based on what we saw here. Hopefully we get our OCI cards by then

Quick help . Planning to submit my OCI application to BLS Brampton next week . The supporting documents that we upload in the OCI website , should I scan and upload the self attested copies ? or Just upload normal copies and submit the self attested copies physically ? It was not very clear in the instructions .

We uploaded normal copies and submitted self attested copies (OCI walk in application).

I too applied on 2nd September the OCI Status website still shows "No Record Found". In the earlier posts from this forum, I see acknowledgement took 2 weeks or less

For Surrender certificate, should the appointment be booked under passport - 40 Gillingham Drive or is it 60 Gillingham Drive?

Its 60 Gillingham Drive. Appointment is not mandatory, I got without any appointment.

Thanks . Also what to enter in the field 'Previous Passport Number' in the Application - Part A . Should I leave it blank as it is optional or enter my Cancelled Indian passport number ?

No, pickup is only on weekdays.

Its better to call BLS phone number expain your situation. They will advise you accordingly.
