OCI process

Today i submitted a postal OCI application to BLS Brampton. Sent via Puralator ( not using BLS PICK UP - DROP OFF ).. it was 3 dollars more than BLS quote (33 vs 30); however, the BLS website takes 30 CAD extra for the original drop off, which is not required for OCI. For return, i kept a "DROP OFF " only order confirmation from BLS Website. I hope it gets through. I will be posting updates/stories..... I am in the Roller Coaster

My application was sent on 30th August and BlS site shows received 6th Sep . No updates after that. It’s 7 working days according to their website. Anyone experienced similar situation? Should I be concerned or just meditate.

my date of acknowledgement is 17 august 2023 but its still says under process on oci website. any idea how long it can take to get processed? (Vancouver mission)

usually 20+ days after acknowledgement.

I filled online application but in the address section I inserted full ONTARIO and not ON as mentioned on my Driver's License and also did not use put space between the postal code L9N0R8.

Do you recommend filling the application again?

As rightly said by @abbas.pasha its not needed as the meaning does not change. ON and Ontario means the same, so does the postal code L9N0R8 or L9N 0R8

General processing question: What is the usual cutoff time for daily OCI Status update?

July 28: Mailed to Brampton via Purolator
July 31: Received by BLS
Aug 1: BLS confirmed receipt
Aug 3: BLS status "Under Process"
Aug 4: BLS status "Processing at consulate general".

Still cannot track on govt website.

Update (OCI received)

Aug 17: (OCI) under process (acknowledged)
Sep 8: Printed/Dispatched from New Delhi/Received at Toronto
Sep 12: Dispatched by BLS to me via purolator
Sep 13: OCI received

total timeframe for postal application: under 7 weeks inc 5 days mail time.

Finally this needlessly painful journey is over. Good luck to everyone!

May i know when did you receive your original documents. Mine is currently under process in OCI(acknowledged)
