I received OCI card delivered on Tuesday. Submitted my walk-in application at BLS Brampton on 16th Jan.

Only docs which I did not upload were checklist and consent form. Declaration for ration and voter ID, I uploaded online, however on day of appointment they asked us not to submit physical copy of the same.

Mind you though, BLS to BLS answer might differ as I read through this thread.

I submitted the documents today at BLS Calgary, they collected the "Declaration for ration and voter ID" form from me, they haven't provided any acknowledgment number. the person said he would be submitting the documents online later. they just collected physical copies for now; I'm not sure if it is the same for others.

Did you avail their premium lounge services ? why is the agent going to upload documents ? did you miss uploading any document ?

Submitted my OCI Application at BLS yesterday. In my case I was not aware that the Voter Card/ Ration Card declaration was also supposed to be uploaded online. The BLS person informed me, but was kind enough to say that she will do it on our behalf. No premium Lounge for this.

Not really, they themselves admitted that there is some confusion in this regard. As long as we had the hard copy of the declaration they were willing to bend and do the upload on our behalf. Otherwise there were numerous people who were paying $100 for some minor mistake or the other.

You were lucky. During my appointment, they were constantly pointing to line in checklist which says copies needs to be submitted and uploaded (they were reluctant to agree that there is confusion regarding upload of documents). I have also read through this forum and reditt on how, just for uploading one document, BLS charged them premium lounge charges. A similar case below -

They have some issues with the BLS portal here in Calgary for OCI applicants. So they collected the documents and informed us that they would approve/submit in their system later. Yes, I availed of premium lounge services.

I had also applied on 7 Jan. Just changed the status from processing to processed today.
