i would say while giving copy (self attested ) , please do carry orginal also with you just incase

I sent my OCI application via Purolator to BLS Brampton on 1st February, today the status on BLS website shows "underprocess".

Means it’s still with bls for internal validation of documents. Once it’s sent , you will see processing at consulate general and then wait for 20-25 days to see your entry in oci portal
Now you don’t have to do anything . Just waiting period

Is it always 20 to 25 days waiting for entry in oci portal.I saw in spreadsheet that some of them got their acknowledgment date in 8 days also.

see the trend in this spreadsheet to get an idea. exceptions are always there. i dont know how that is happening.

Today marks the 4th day since BLS haven't dispatched back the OCI, still shows ready for collection with no additional comments.
Really not sure what could be wrong here, maybe they misplace my return label I sent with the application or they don't care enough to double check the envelope.
Called more than 50 times cant get hold off anyone, sent the escalation email with no response yet.

At this point if I don't hear from them this week, Monday I will go to collect it myself.

Sample ans for visible mark-
Mole near ur lips
Moss on bottom right side of face
Injury mark on forehead

You can write None if you don't have any distinguishing mark.

For OCI this gets printed on the booklet.

what if you have a mark visible on face but you leave it empty or add NA, then do you think BLS guy will notice that or not

they look for money only and not for any visible marks on face
