Number of years allowed to work

Hi everybody,

I was wandering how many more times I'll be able to renew my work permit. I've been working for the same company for 2 years. Since my first year of work was under a post graduation work permit and my second year was under a regular temporary work permit, I wander if I have 3 more years to go or if they count the first one too.

I ask this because a friend told me that immigration is only allowing for temporary workers to renew for 4 years max.
