Hello everybody,

I need your help. I have been in Quebec for 7 years (did my Bachelor and MA in Montreal). I then applied and received my CSQ from Quebec while I was working under my post-graduation work permit.

My post-graduation permit expired on August 8 and I have until Nov.8 to renew my work permit and restore my status (I'm in the 90 days grace period).

I have also applied for my PR and am awaiting a response. The only problem is that I need an offer of employment letter but no one is willing to do it.

What are my options? Would this penalize my PR application?

Thank you !

if you want a work permit to work, you have to find a employer. if you just want to stay in canada, apply a vister visa is good enough, but after you become a visiter, you can not work anymore and you gonna need all steps to get a new work permit like LMO and Med exam.

franklee1114 is right, you can restore your status as Visitor. You can apply for Work Permit of you have LMO, other option is if you receive PNP Nomination, ask them to provide you support letter and then you can apply for Open work permit. Good luck, hope you will receive your PNP soon.
