Does anyone know why do some people get their background check done before test and other don’t??
whats the reason behind it tho??
I noticed those who got it done before the test, their applications move faster.

Initial background verification does not pull any negative data. If it does it goes for extra validation which can delay your verification.

I applied on Nov 24 but the only email I have ever received is the confirmation of payment.

Is this normal or should I have received any other type of confirmation email or AOR?

@Chloe10 You should received AOR with in 3 weeks normally followed by test invite.

Oh so that's weird. When I check the immigration website, it says:

"We’re now sending AOR letters or emails for paper and online applications received the week of September 9, 2023"

Not sure if this is accurate or not. Would you recommend trying to contact someone about my application or do you think this delay is pretty standard.

I notice that Nov'23 applications receive test invite first before BG complete. Anything has changed in the process? I got AOR for minor application(without parent) on Nov 22nd and since then no update. I know for minor they just check BG and prohibitions.

@wonderwall007 check your spam/junk folder. My AOR is Dec 12th and i got message to create an account on the same day. My test invitation date was 27th Dec

I got my AOR on Dec 15th. Still waiting on the test invite. Maybe by the end of this week or next week probably? Fingers crossed.

No I have not received the invite yet and also the tracker says : Not Started for the test

Test Invite : Dec 13 2023 ( dec 22 - jan 20)
Test Taken : Dec 23 2023
Test Completed on portal : Dec 28 2023
Waiting on LPP and BG check.....

Online application, Scarborough office.

I’m still waiting on my BG check and LPP. I’ve seen applications where bg is complete even before the test invite. My test has been updated yet bg and LPP in progress….anyone on same boat ?
