I got GCMS notes today. I see in my notes location: E-Grant clearance pending, and already passed due date 2024-03-30.
Notes #1 last updated 2024-03-01 - Security clearance in progress. However my latest update on portal is 2024-03-07 everything is completed except Oath
Is there anything else specific I should look for?
I got respond for the web form.
“We verified the information you provided and can confirm that your application to become a Canadian citizen (grant of citizenship) is still in process”.
At this time, all required documents and information have been received by the responsible office.
This is bullshit. I had an interview scheduled because they required a photocopy of all pages of my passport. Four F(*&^*%$ months after submitting my passport pages, they finally moved forward with my application and set up this interview with an official. I assume they need proof of my language skills and documents. But guess what? Two days before the interview, they called me to reschedule due to some scheduling and technical issues. They couldn’t even give me a new date for the interview. Not the oath, just the goddamn interview.
For folks who did the Oath, if you have a myCIC account, what does the “Document Status” of the recent PR card say? And is the “status updated date” same or different than the date you took oath?

B called IRCC last week - the agent said the primary VO is Scarborough.
The agent said B things are completed but it depends on the outsourced vendor to update the status portal.
Not sure why we are not completing LPP at the same time. We asked our MP's help at the beginning of Jun, but still no progress.

I applied Nov 6. Aor Nov 29. Vancouver office. My last update 20 of Feb Background. LPP still in progress. I raised 2 web form and 1 Gcms notes. Still no update. Waiting, waiting…
My last update was on April 11th with background check the only one still being in progress.
There's nothing I can do at this point since they claim that security screening is outsourced to 3rd parties.
Once a year passes I'll probably file a writ of mandamus.
