It has been one month since the BG's passing, but there has been no update regarding the citizenship test invitation. How much longer can one expect to wait for it?

I think you should call IRCC to find out your processing office and if that has been sent. Or ask what is pending next.

So, we can just call them and ask which is the processing office? what is the link for web form?

@IceD. Online applicants do not have access to ECAS. From paper applicants experience in this forum, LPP being marked as complete is equivalent to ECAS Decision made

This is correct. When LPP is complete on the regular tracker, ECAS does show as Decision Made.

Good point. I know someone whose file is at Niagara Falls. They passed their background almost two months ago and no test invite since. Apparently the Niagara Falls office is very backlogged at this point and the expectation is that applications will be processed within the 23 month timeframe especially at this office.

Does the Canadian Citizenship test have questions related to the province where you live?

I've been doing practice tests and some of them asks to select your province. For example https://www.yourlibrary.ca/citizenship/ and https://citizenshipcounts.ca/study

Received Ghost update on our application my wife and I Today. Anyone got ghost update March 16th?
The previous ghost update was on March 2nd and a lot of you guys received like system update.
Our application in process since Jan 28th and now security check in process.

Usually between 24-48 hours it gets updated. however it depends on the office processing it, some take even a week or so

Between 3 and 10 days. Depends on the local office. For most normal cases it is an Oath Invitation but I have seen the odd interview happen too in some cases based on what I see in this forum. But I would say 95% - Goes straight to Oath invite.

I also need to add that the next step would be LPP complete and if you did a paper application, it will show as "Decision Made" in ECAS at the same time as LPP complete. That usually takes about 2 months. Then another 2-3 months to Oath invitation. Again, this can be faster or slower. We wont know.

No harm in calling them up. But from my experience on this forum, calling them does not always help in anyway except you can have a sense of peace that everything is going on track. Their processing time is currently at 23 months so till that timeline passes, I dont think they will make any extra effort and will follow the normal process. Most cases are finalized between 8 and 13 months now from what I see.
