Hello everyone! I saw that our application status online are all COMPLETED except for Oath Taking, updated January31. When can we expect the oath taking to happen? Calgary based applicants. Thanks!

Nobody here can answer that question, it can take anywhere between 2 days to 6 months to get an oath invite. The average time seems to be ~ 3 months

6 weeks seems to be the average in Montreal from DM to update for oath date, seems to be the new normal if you wait long for DM from test. Looks like their aim is 6 months from test to oath update regardless of when you get DM. But also depends if they can get you in before your background check expires.

what does your application tracker show? I am yet to get an email, but the tracker shows oath scheduled.

It’s Normal to get the email only about a week before. So no need to worry yet. If you haven’t gotten it by March 8th I would start calling them.

How long has it said in progress? Beware they still say 4-6 weeks to get the certificate so hope they schedule you soon. I had my oath today, but it won’t feel real until I have that passport in hand.

Hi, just got an email from IRCC today that my Oath ceremony is scheduled for Feb 16th next week, Winnipeg applicant. And when I went into Status tracker it showed Citizenship is updated to in progress on Feb 7th. Finally it has arrived. Congratulations to everybody who has and is receiving and best wishes to those still waiting, I hope the wait is not too long!

Hi, just got an email from IRCC today that my Oath ceremony is scheduled for Feb 16th next week, Winnipeg applicant. And when I went into Status tracker it showed Citizenship is updated to in progress on Feb 7th. Finally it has arrived. Congratulations to everybody who has and is receiving and best wishes to those still waiting, I hope the wait is not too long!

check this link to see other applications in Montreal. It is quite horribly done for an excel sheet. He has it sorted alphabetically but you can create temporary filter to check by date of application sent, or by test date.

Wow actually just got the Oath date. Magic?

DM on 30th Dec 2021, everything is showing now as completed, except citizenship oath(Not started)
I am Montreal applicant, Family, ecas is also showing as DM.
Normal applicant, no urgent processing. I havent contacted IRCC or anyone before about my application status and processing delay.
I am unable to update the excel spreadsheet, because i have only read access, request admin to update on my behalf, thanks in advance.

Congratulations!!! Anything I need to know or be aware of for the Oath ceremony!?! I read the email and seems pretty straightforward.
