I'm fairly new here. Can someone tell me what AOR stand for? I submitted my application on Nov 22nd by my lawyer. Not sure if it's received yet.

From my understanding "AOR" mean that your application has been recieved. How did you get that notification? via email? this is what I am trying to figure out

AOR means acknowledgement of receipt.

AOR means Acknowledgment Of Receipt. In other words, it means CIC has received your application for permanent residency and has issued a case file number for the application submitted.

I have seen people receiving there AOR via email and by regular mail. So i am not sure what way to expect mine

I am not really sure how to do this? we filled it out our computer and are just about ready to send it off should we bother trying to figure it out online? Does it make a big difference?

After you've finished filling out the form on your computer, print it out and include it with the rest of your forms and documents. Your application will be returned if you're missing a form.

while trying to link the application, i have a doubt
AOR shows UCI number and application number
UCI number(sponsor previous UCI number)

the AOR is send in referring the Sponsor name

in this case i need to link the application in sponsor's account or principal applicants account(since she had one when she applied for visitor)
