I thought after 6 months we have have the right to pester IRCC so called them again today and a wonderful agent told me;

Eligibility is still in progress but it has been Recommend Pass
Criminality - Passed
Security - Not initiated

Can u explain..... What is the meaning when it says eligibility - met
And y does the agent say that it can change

Eligibility 'met' and 'recommend pass' are both same. It means your application has passed the case analyst review and is pending the final officer review.

90% of the time final officer will agree to case analyst.

I just called in cic, very nice agent i spoke to told me that my background has been passed on 1st may(had no update online after mep tho). She told me my visa office is the one at Niagara falls. Nothing has been flagged.
Can u guys tell me how is niagara VO and when can i expect something from them considering background has been cleared now.

I've got the same exact response today to my CSE, where I also asked like 4-5 different questions =).

My AOR is November 1st, and I haven't had any updates in my profile since December after submitting biometrics. I tried calling CIC using Hangouts as someone suggested on the forum, but I get the weird error when trying to make a call - "Unexpected account registration. Please try again later" (I've tried reinstalling, cleaning data, using a different phone and account, but the error persists).

Try raising a CSE?

Called on April 12 and learned:
Criminality, Security and Eligibility passed on April 11, waiting to be finalized.

No updates to date, no notes....
I'm losing my mind and every day without news makes it harder to just wait and put everything on pause

Yeah, I wonder if they are waiting for Vancouver office, I read that the office is very small to handle interviews.

It's so bittersweet to be at the end, but it just won't come.
I know I am waiting since May 2nd, but still feels weird to be approved and not get an email.

People with January and onward AORs are getting PPRs faster in general. I shared a theory earlier that security is the cause of most of the long processing times (and poor IRCC gets most of the abuse lol) and the introduction of biometrics and faster PPRs can't be a coincidence.

Not really, this theory is not 100% accurate.. as many applicants from Jan are waiting.. What we have seen is certain NOC have received PPR in Jan

If eligibility is recommend pass, I wouldn't worry too much

My eligibility is recommend pass too. Eligibility is the biggest hurdle and if you have crossed that then 95% PPR is on it's way So don't stress too much about it. We are very close now. Most likely we should hear good news within next 2 weeks

I would say that NOC theory might not be accurate as well. I don't have a lot of data to prove it but my colleague and I have the same NOC 4163. His AOR is 2 weeks earlier than mine. He got PPR more than 2 months ago and I am still waiting for with Eligibility not started and with 1 day left till 6 months mark

Criminality will not take much time, and security can take any time between 1-3 months.
