Same case then. Even mine says the same since Apr 30.

I guess if this status changes thats probably when we enter into the last phase.

Let's just hope they clear it soon

Called on April 12 and learned:
Criminality, Security and Eligibility passed on April 11, waiting to be finalized.

No updates to date, no notes....
I'm losing my mind and every day without news makes it harder to just wait and put everything on pause

I know the feeling my families life is just on hold and dysfunctional since, all I know whatever is teaching us to be patience, I am yelling that I learnt my lesson because this has been the hardest test of patience I have ever undergone. most of the applications here are moving to IP2 now and getting PPR the next day or within a week.

Not talking about cases which have moved to IP2 long back.

So today, after 8 days, I received an answer to the CSE I raised asking if there was an issue with my application, or if eligibility was met, or if my case was still at Ottawa or any information they could provide me. Here’s the answer:

“We verified the information you provided regarding the processing times and have forwarded it to the responsible office.

They will contact you if further information is required or if a decision is made on your application.”

What does this mean? That my file is no longer at Ottawa?

Does this imply something?

I raised another CSE yesterday, since I thought that the first one was ignored, let’s see if they respond with something less ambiguous.

I tried calling CIC using Hangouts as someone suggested on the forum, but I get the weird error when trying to make a call - "Unexpected account registration. Please try again later" (I've tried reinstalling, cleaning data, using a different phone and account, but the error persists).

Most likely they have made an enquiry asking the reason for the delay in your case.

I was told, normally when a decision has not been made on an application past 6 months they put a remainder to the responsible office as why the case is taking so long. The case analyst will have to reply to them within 30 days.

From what I understand, they set a date after the 30 day period and this is when they tell you to call back suppose you have not heard back from them by then. In my case it is June 11, 2019

Can I suggest you try downloading the talkatone app! Its free! Its an app with a blue phone in a white background
Sign up using an email once your account is created choose a Canadian area code or province ( they will generate a number for you) you will be able the call any Canadian number toll free and the usa for free then call cic on 1888-242-2100
You will have a be able to speak to them with no problems
Just have good wifi or data

I felt after 6 months we have the right to pester IRCC so called them again today and a wonderful agent told me;

Eligibility is still in progress but it has been Recommend Pass
Criminality - Passed
Security - Not initiated
