I don't see why would that be a problem if anyone else in the office can confirm your employment. Did they asked to speak to a person who took over the position, or asked the assistant about you?

This maybe a problem for me. My company has 3 branches in the city. I work in the main office and the HR who signed the letter mentioned the main office number as well.
However, in the experience letter, there are numbers of the other 2 offices too. Now suppose if they end up calling any one of those office they won't have a clue who I am

And based on my profile information they've been working on my background check.
I just logged in and under "Current Status" it said:
"Application/profile updated"
However, I didn't see any updates so I assume this is one of those ominous 'Ghost updates'? I haven't received an email yet though.
