Guys please update it here if you already got AOR. Also please enter your respective VO (not Mississauga, Canada). If you are not sure where your application will be transferred after the processing is done at CPC-Mississauga, please enter it as Unknown.
Hello,
Mississauga received my husband and I's application from South Korea on November 3rd, and we just received our AOR1 on December 22 around 4pm
We linked the application and we had notification to upload the police background check and schedule A by January 28 2019.
I sent mine November 2nd and it was signed for November 3rd. Good luck everyone! I look forward to chatting with you all throughout the process! Don't forget to update the Google spreadsheet (above) under the'November' tab as a way of keeping track of our timelines!
I'm a Canadian who married a Bengali who is currently studying in the USA. So I'm here living with him in the States temporarily until he finishes. We applied through family class as if we're both living outside Canada (which we are).
Our application was received on November 5th and we still haven't heard anything yet.
Will they be sending an acknowledgement email to myself (sponsor) or to my husband (principal applicant)?

Its taking about 6-8 weeks to hear back and take into account the holidays... it could take a bit longer so not to worry at this point. They will send an email to pa and to the rep if there is one

New to the thread also! Our app seems to be handled a bit strangely already..
It was received on Nov 11th and we were waiting on an AOR1 as we thought this was the next step. However, I've (the principal applicant) today received an email out of the blue with a police check cert request and our Schedule A. We've managed to link our account as the email confirmed our unique identity number but there's nothing else from them to confirm that our app has been received (bit strange).
No request for medical as of yet, and it currently says no interview or biometrics are required but i'm aware that may change...
Will keep updating as and when i hear!
Also - i am from the UK so my VO will most likely be London!
Good luck to everyone! Hopefully it will go smoothly [FINGERS CROSSED!!]
Not sure about the Use of Representative form. I am the sponsor and sent the application package to IRCC few days ago. My spouse (Principal applicant did not submit the use of representative form). Does that mean that the application will be returned?
Yes but only if you use the information of the Principal Applicant, set it up in their name. Then after you set up a GCKey account and you enter information to link the app, you have to use the PA's info (name, birth date, passport number, etc).
