Hello Guys,

Finally, after trying different combinations for gazillion times, I was able to link application to my account.
Here is what worked for me:
> Permanent Resident
> Family class(spouse)
> Application number & Last name
> {SKIP BIRTH PLACE & COUNTRY OF BIRTH} - NO SPACE, NOTHING JUST SKIP IT.
> FILL IN all fields in passports
> Number of ppl in file = 2 (sponsor + PA)

AND BINGOOO... One match found!!

Hello all. So we are seeing some progress with our application. We are Family Class Sponsorship Common Law outside of Canada in Ireland. Our application was received in Missisauga on the Nov 16th and we got first communication the 11th of January. We have since had request for Schedule A and criminal record check as well as Medical check.. When I check our application status online without logging in I see DM underneath the Sponsor.. but we have yet to receive any more details regarding this decision, it is a success or not. Anyone else experience this? Would they request

Decision Made under the sponsor generally means that the sponsor has been approved to sponsor. The application is still ongoing for the principle applicant.

I've not gone through the process, myself, but you may get an e-mail. Have a look at this thread for examples of each of the stages and what to expect:

Hi my husband (sponsor) got email from cic stating that our application was not able to process bcos of one missing signature of imm0008 completed generic application form.. and requested us to submit the form with complete signature before deadline. could anyone here knows if it is okay to submit the form online? if it is okay to scan it and then email it to them . ? thanks a lot

hi everyone .. I am sponsoring my wife and I am November applicant .. I got the email from cic that states that " this confirms that your application to sponsor a member of family has been received by cic on 30/11/2017 on behalf of following member ( wife name ).

totally confused what was the email regarding and should I link my application now ?

This is your AOR1, and it should come with your file number and UCI number. And yes, you can use UCI to link your application now.

Really varies on the application/visa office/officer. Ours was about a month back when we went through it.

Nothing so far... I just called CIC today .. they just told that it could happen anytime soon

How long from DM regarding SA does official communication arrive? Its been a week since I have noticed the change and still no email or anything in the mail. Cause I am curious if it is a positive decision or not. Would they continue on with the criminal record check and medical for the applicant if it wasnt?

Does anyone have any ideas about SA ? How long will it take to get approved? I am waiting for about two weeks after AOR1, still nothing. I saw usually it will take about one week, looks long time right now!
