Is it me or everyone else are having problems going to CIC page? Yesterday it was super slow and today I can't even load the page :

I realized why I wasn't able to log in ECAS, because that's the link I was always using:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/e-services/mycic.asp

If I go directly it will work fine: https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/authenticate.do

So I guess really an issue is with CIC page, as I was entering trough CIC usually Thank you all for your help

pls help how to fill form case specific enquiry... the first lines says Applicant, I dont know if its the Sponsor applicant or the sponsored applicant name..

Case Specific Inquiry for manila vo. I am having trouble for my wife is not receiving my letters and I am worried that the CEM will send her a letter and she can received it.. trouble trouble trouble postman delivery!!!! so sad my wife didnt receive her birthday card and hoping she will receive her valentines card...

Oh i see. The principal applicant is your wife .
And you are the sponsor.
For cases that the sponsor needs to fill up sponsor questionare then if the question asks for applicant address then i think that would be you.

Anyway what courier did u use to send your mail post cards to your wife?
If you used Canada Post then it would reach after 1 month from the day of sending here in the Philippines. For important documents i suggest you send through DHL. Thats what me and my husband in Quebec do.

I am using Canada post since its a regular letter. And I believe CEM is using sending letters tru post office not lbc unless its a passport they will do it in courier.. Thx for your reply MrsMelnic8

I sent mine on November 24th. I finally checked online and it says " in process". Fingers crossed.

Hi, Just have a question, so I have received my AOR saying that I am eligible and that my wife's papers are being sent to their visa office, however, I've just received another letter stating a refund of $550 is due to be credited back to me?

Would anyone know why I was refunded? :|

because you paid too much money, someone else on this forum did the same thing, the entire process costs $1,140 if i recall correctly and they ended up being refunded 550 because they paid $1690

Actually the total is $1040 for outland.

It is in March and I wasn't expecting it so quick. Well, I wasn't expecting it at all as we provided so many evidences

Definitely a fast response... sorry it wasn't with better news... hopefully once you are done they let you know right away that you have been approved.

Good luck with it... from what I have read just be on the same page with your spouse!

Only I am invited to this interview. I don't think they will even allow my husband in. At least the letter was for me.

I don't know what to expect anymore. They ask for more prove and original police certificate again. Maybe it is for better, maybe they will realize that is genuine relationship and I will be approved sooner. I am just curious to know why they want interview from us, I guess it is just random. I am happy at least that it is not 2 years, but quite soon.
Can they approve right away after the interview? I doubt it.
The hard part, I need to fly from Canada now, well, at least my family will be happy to see me

Yes ... someone from my visa office got the answer right after their interview ...

And it will be good... you can better prove the relationship is genuine. If you go to the Port of Spain thread on the forum someone has listed all the interview questions... I just can't remember what page number it is.... definitely in the 600s though.

I am not sure if you are a believer or not, but I will be certainly praying for you! Really hope you get news once all is done!
