Yeah I'm expecting things to go quiet now too. We've got a long wait ahead of us [hopefully not too long!].

I've been checking eCAS at least once everyday, not that it helps.

Quebec charged our credit card, so I am assuming they received application for CSQ and will be processing it soon, fingers crossed

By the way, who will be applying from QC, the price changed after January 1st. It is 275 CAD instead of 272 CAD, but they haven't made it super clear in their webpage, so just pay attention.

I sent mine not too long ago...so glad I checked their website carefully.

How often are you guys checking ecas?

I check daily, but trying to drop down to once a week...

I wonder if the new or old process is based on which VO is processing your application, according to that thread we should all be new process... but we aren't....

Personally, old or new... I just want to get to decision made...

Whatever Eagle333 said about the old process and the new process only describe the most probable stages of your processing according to how ECAS update the status, however it is not absolute, he still advise forum members to get their GCMS notes to be 100% sure which stage you are at. If you want a better picture, order your notes after 3 months your case is at the VO.

Guys I checked eCas and it worked! So no AOR per say, but they started processing Jan 26 :3

Hi all,

I'm new here, but have come to this site at various points to look for answers and some much-needed solidarity. I've finally decided that's time to join in!

I've noticed the wide range of outland processing timeframes throughout the thread. I'm wondering if anyone has a similar situation to my wife and I?

Application was received 12 Nov 2015
AOR was received 6 January 2016
SA was received 15 January 2016

Here's where it gets funny. Based on my wife's nationality, we understood that her PR application was to be sent to Manilla for outland processing. Instead, it was sent to CPC Ottawa. Has this happened to anyone else?

After I received "SA", our Ecas updates have been less than informative.

Even though I received the email saying that I've been approved as sponsor, Ecas still says that my Sponsorship App is "IN PROCESS". Does that ever get updated?

Also, my wife's PR Application has switched over to "IN PROCESS" the main Ecas screen, but when I click on the application it only has ONE line saying that "we received ..... application for permanent residency on 12 Nov 2015". It doesn't say anything else (no word about medicals received, nor anything about the app being "in process"). We did medicals upfront.

Is CPC Ottawa just bad at updating things? Or should we be worried about a misplaced application?
