I called CIC today, and they were able to provide me a file number. They said since I did not provide an email they did not send out AOR but sent out the SA today. She did not tell me if I was approved or not but said in process. Should I take this as a "yes" I have been approved?

I was able to log in using the number this is what is shows:
We received your application to sponsor xxxx xxxx on November 27, 2015.
We started processing your application on January 22, 2016.

Wonderful to know,, I am able to see the PR side as well..application received and medical received. This is exciting but I will feel much better once I get the SA letter in my hands!

Quite a relief. I just hope NDVO process the application asap.

I can log in as sponsor with his info and UCI # and I can log in for applicant with application # and my info. I would just try different combos till you find which work. Seems to be whatever with CIC. Not consistent.

Thanks JYC.. After losing my Canada Post receipt I was so nervous of monitoring the package.. BIG RELIEF!!!

If you are already on the system, you can call CIC to get your UCI number.

We're not. He has a UCI from a VR but that's separate. I was born in Canada so I don't. We have nothing. Guh. Pretty discouraged. Guess we just.. Hope for a decent border guard coming back :/
