I wonder how long until AOR2 after SA... even though my ECAS is not updated i wish i get the AOR2 asap ahaaha i feel like i ask too much but i know all of you could understand the impatience when your waiting for your loved one to start your life together.

Don't people often not get AOR2? I thought SA often just doesn't move until IP

I have a question that I'm hoping someone can help me out with...

There are 3 "boxes" on the ECAS system where you check application status. The first shows the sponsored person (my husband), the second shows sponsorship application status (it shows in process) and permanent residence application status it shows received.

I am assuming that the second box will change soon to reflect my sponsor approval. Will I just continue to log in using the same info to view the application status for my husbands part? I'm confused

Mine doesn't show Sponsor Approval and I have had that since Dec 10. I really don't know how they update it. Mine hasn't changed for a month now.

Yeah mine either but I was thinking its too soon for me. I guess we just sit and wait now... My part is done at least. Thanks

I just received my sponsor approval email from CIC. Application being transferred to VO ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

No clue what AOR 2 is.... I'm assuming that its the second part of the application for the person being sponsored. Under that third tab in ecas, mine says received

AOR2 is when you get confirmation from the Visa office that they are processing the application. I read that not a lot of people actually get this though. I would love to know that my file made it to Ottawa from Mississauga. What if it got lost, will I ever know?

Finally i can open my ecas,but on the PR its only one line..no medical rcvd or something..

I dont have medical received either even though it was done in september

Maybe you could find out by ordering your notes? I am considering doing that. I can't stop obsessing.

How long after getting AOR can I log into ecas? I know it takes a few days...does anyone have an estimate?

I got mine 12/24 and I believe Monday the 28th mine started working.
