Received Application: Jan 26, 2015
Exam: Sept 2 2015
Oath: waiting....

Are there any January applicants waiting for their oath date?

Hey, unfortunately calling CIC is pointless unless it is passed the timeline...They won't be of any help...I know the wait is frustrating but unfortunately no one knows how CIC operates and ecas is not always reliable in terms timely updates...Based on current timelines I have seen it seems they are sending oaths to January applicants so just be patient and you should get yours pretty soon

Test september 15 followed by FP
Decision made october 29
Oath dec 3 (through ecas update) they send me a letter on nov 9

For those people who are waiting past their timeline related to their Oath ceremony, here it was I was thinking to share.

I found this email id in this forum about this, you can write to them seeking information related to your case. They read the email as I got my read receipt back, however I did not hear anything from them even after a week; coincidently, my Ecas updated on 7th early morning about the oath;
CIC-Calgary@cic.gc.ca.

However, it is also possible (just my thinking) that they would like to have diff nationality in each ceremony and that could be another reason for delay in few people’s case.

Hope everyone gets their good news. I will take my oath on 23rd Nov2015. my application received on 16th Jan2015.

all the info inside is the same as earlier in the month

I applied on March and did my test on Oct 8

Just got DM this morning! Test was at CIC Calgary on November 4.

App. Received => 04-MAY-2015
AOR in Email => 15-JUNE-2015
In Process => 23-JULY-2015
Test Date => 04-NOV-2015
DM => 16-NOV-2015
OATH => soon!

Usually a DM after the test is a good thing as far as I have read. Lately, it is going from IP to DM in a matter of 2-7 days. Mine it was in 3 days time frame.

Nothing to panic. Sometimes it takes up to 4-6 months. I find CIC is speeding up processes in general. If you did not get an RQ at interview, things should be fine. It is a matter of time...
