When submitting PR we have not given anything for previously employment details as it was not mentioned in mandatory neither in additional documents for my program.

So do you think thy will ask for it ?

Hi, my work permit expired on August 22 2024, but I was issued a work permit extension until January 11, 2025. Unfortunately, it was refused today, December 5, and I was informed that my status has expired as of today. The reason for the refusal of my BOWP was stated as a cancellation of my Provincial Nomination. However, when I contacted the province that nominated me, they confirmed that my nomination was not canceled. As a result, I submitted an LMIA-exempt closed work permit application today December 5. May I kindly ask if I am currently on implied status, or do I need to apply for restoration? Thank you very much.

If your BOWP application is refused due to an error by an officer, you should consider filing an appeal. Please consult an official immigration lawyer for guidance, as they can provide the correct direction.

How long does it take for the application to be approved for PR?.
My status has been Decision in Progress for almost two months now. I submitted my application on July 27th, 2024 yet it has not been approved till now.
I need your timely response on the next thing to do as my PGWP is expiring early April 2025.
I applied together with my 4 children

Mine took around 6 months from application to nomination, and from nomination to PR, well..... I applied in Dec 2023 and still waiting.... hold ur horses.... its not fast for most of us

No , if you already applied for extension, you don’t have to worry about anything.

They only reissue nomination if your PR application is returned incomplete and your current nomination certificate has expired.

I called IRCC earlier and explained my situation. I reconfirmed that my nomination was not canceled despite the refusal of my BOWP and the expiration of my work permit extension yesterday December 5. On the same day yesterday, I submitted a closed work permit application under the LMIA exemption. The call lasted about an hour because they reviewed my application. I also confirmed whether I still have maintained status, and she said yes.

I applied on July 5th and received AOR on Nov 22. The next day on Nov 23, I got BIL, and the medical also passed. On Nov 25 I gave biometric , which was updated in GC Key. However, I still have not received PAL. Is it normal? As I show a few timelines, where generally they got PAL after biometric or medical. In my case, both have been done, though there is no update on PAL. Please advise me.

Please I applied in May 12, 2024 and received AOR and BIL in Aug 19 2024 ( which BIL was later updated because I had done bil for my closed work permit that was refused early this year) ..since then it has been total silence as I have not gotten MIL from ircc..my application is currently 7 months now and no progress as such, please advise me
