Bro can help with more explanation to this. My close work permit will expires in september 2024, and my employer will not be giving me a new employerment letter to enable me extend my WP.
But i have Work permit support letter from my province.
I applied for my PR in october 2023 and i dont know if my PR will be out before septemter 2024.
Is there anyway i can get my work permit extended if my PR is not out before september?
In this case, if you don’t have any employment restrictions on your nomination letter, then you can apply for BOWP with help of AOR . If you have employment restrictions, unfortunately only option is submitting closed work permit application and your employer have to submit job offer in employer portal and it is mandatory.

They asked for very unexpected documents: military records for me and my wife or official exemptions from the military service.
Neither I nor my wife have never served, and we answered that in the PR application.
Looks like they are confused with your application. If you never had military record, you should submit letter of explanation and ask them there must be error on their side . I would also suggest you to call centre and ask them to make note on your application that ADR is not applicable to you as you never ever gad record.

Those who gave their medical exam for study permit 2 years ago need to give a new medical exam while applying for non express entry PR now?
In-Canada applicants
We’ve put in place a temporary public policy for immigration medical exams (IMEs) until October 6, 2024.

If you completed an IME within 5 years of submitting your new application, include the IME number (or the unique medical identifier number) from your previous exam in your current application.

You may be exempt from completing another IME if you meet all of these conditions:

  • You applied, or are applying, for either permanent residence or temporary residence.
  • You already live in Canada.
  • You completed your previous IME in the last 5 years.
  • Your previous IME indicated a low risk or no risk to public health or public safety.

Yeah, I have already submitted my Military Book where the officer can find the statement “Did not serve”, and also I provided LOE.
I called to the call centre and the agent answered: “Sorry, I don’t know how to help you, it’s very rare type of ADR. You can provide LOE to the officer to explain that it’s not applicable to you”.

I think then you are good to go . Also you can try to order your GCMS notes and see what error was. . Why did they requested these documents .

When the tracker provides COPR number(s), then GCMS note includes 'Final: Approved'. No one knows when we can get portal emails.

Apparently, these guys dont really have any specific steps or guidelines that they follow. In my case I got my portal email before COPR shows up in my tracker.

Yeah, seems there has been a bottleneck between Final Decision and portal emails.
I totally don't understand what keeps them from making the final decision although everything (except printing eCOPR) was finished according to the GCMS note.
Maybe they don't want to process some Non-EE applications that took (less than or about) 6 months fast because they're 'Non-Express'?

Hi, I have Not got any confirmation email after applying for PR through non express entry portal. Usually people get an email stating that "you application is submitted successfully" which I have not received. Please help what to do

Check your spam folder in your email. What is your current status on online tracker? Does it show submitted?

Hi there, I also applied online 2 days ago and haven’t got confirmation email yet. I do see “submitted” on the tracker site. Are we supposed to receive one before getting AOR?

Hello, Once we submit application how long does it take to receive email (AR) not AOR. I submitted application last week but no confirmation email.
