Nice! Congratulations! I didn't receive the portal 1 email yet, but seeing that you had your background check completed on the same day that I did and you already received it, gives me hope that I'll get it soon too! Fingers crossed, lol

I got my BOWP approved.

and i also got another ghost update today for PR , background check switched from NA back to we are processing.

seems like i'm getting pretty close.

March 1st have started getting their AOR, so you might get yours between Monday and Wednesday.

I am starting my application in non express entry online portal and have some doubts about Reference letters, POF & IELTS requirement.
1. For current employment - Do I need to get the updated experience letters from employer or is it fine to use the old experience letters which I used for my SINP application back in October 2023.
2. For POF any specific format is there to get from the financial institution. If any one can share me the sample format, it will be really helpful. TIA.
3. IELTS - Certificate is getting expired on this month. So do we need to upload the certificate. I am not sure & read that for TEER 0 occupations nominated no need to upload the IELTS certificate. Please help me...

Please help to resolve the doubts. Thanks in advance.

To be honest, I'm no entirely sure, as I haven't received it yet... for what I understand, they'll ask to confirm some information (address, etc),and to create an account in the portal, and upload pictures... I could be wrong though!

The PR Confirmation Portal is used by IRCC for the following:
  • Confirm that you are inside Canada
  • Confirm your current address
  • Get your picture for your PR card

Upon receiving your confirmation portal email, follow the instructions in the email regarding the information to be sent to IRCC. You need to respond to that email with the following:
  • Email address you want to use for the confirmation process
  • If you have spouse/dependents, will you be acting on their behalf or not.
  • Your personal details (Name, UCI, Email, Original Entry Date, Date of last entry, location of last entry)

Here is a sample response to this email for a single applicant.

Hi Virtual Landing Unit,

Thanks for your email. Here is the requested information for the PR confirmation portal process.
  • Email Address I want to use: consult@effizient.ca
  • I don't have any spouse/partner or dependent children
  • Here is my information:
- Name : ABC
- UCI : 12345678
- Email (as set out in this message): consult@effizient.ca
