I have to say, this is one shitty end to the year. I'm dissapointed that many people from 2021 are still waiting for approvals while seeing stories of people applying in Mar-Apr-Jun 2022 get COPR or portals just in time for Christmas like it's some fairy-tale. Good for them.

I think IRCC is disgusting and the treatment between non-EE and EE candidates is borderline inhumane. I can't wait to delete my account and never talk about immigration ever again after get approval (hopefully in Q1 2023) or leaving Canada if refused (always possible if I lose my job). Either way, I'm really over it, and I hope for many of us who have been waiting nearly 12 months or more this ordeal is behind us in the first weeks of 2023.

Happy New Year.

It's crazy how EE candidates get PRs in just a month lol.

Hello
Does anyone know how long could take to receive access information for PR confirmation?
I received the first email in December 22 and send the information they request but after that haven’t receive any access to confirm my address and upload the photo

Any advise will be very appreciate :)

things are super slow at the moment with it being the holiday period, there's a lot of people from Dec 16th onwards waiting for portal access.

There's no advice aside from just wait for now.

Yeah, it is sad. I have two friends who applied under EE PNP got Ecopr after a month of ADR. They applied in Nov and just got their Ecopr 2 weeks ago.

Thank you so much :) I did know if I should have received the access right away after my email but now I know that this never ends have wait one more time Thank you

Hi everyone, does anyone know how long it is taking now for their AOR.
I applied through the Permanent Residence Portal Online on NOV 19 2022 and am still waiting for my AOR. My PGWP is expiring in few months any suggestions on how to proceed ? Thank you

There is no set pattern, but the recent AoR timeline have been anywhere between 1 to 6 months.

My AR on 28th October 2021 its been 14 months I haven't received aor email yet.i talked to ircc call center on 18th December 2022 and they gave me the application number starting with EP and i then linked the application number to the account and there is no update on it. On the status page it says we are reviewing for eligibility, thats it.

It just makes me sick reading this. I applied in March 2022 and already received PAL.
I am so sorry you are in this situation.

Need advise.

No. You have very little prospect of coming to Canada without a job offer. An LMIA is a very expensive, intensive and time-consuming process for employers and most of them quite frankly don't want to go through it. If you can get an LMIA though you get +50 to your CRS and may become competitive for EE this year, or obtain enough Canadian work experience for PNP.

It’s taking around 2-3 months. I received my AOR on Dec 21st applied on Oct 31st 2022

Has anyone able to check their application status via this particular link after linking the application to GCkey account?
https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/security.do?lang=en

I've never been able to get thru and I'm not sure if worked even before linking the application, but I read somewhere that it updates every 24 hours. Was just curious to know if this shows any other information on the application other than what is shown at the GCkey account.
