Hi guys! I applied on Aug 1st, 2024, when processing time was 11 months. Now that processing time has increased to 21 months, what should I expect the processing time for my application to be? Thanks. I received PAL on April 12th. BKC is in progress and Eligibility shows "not started."

It has been 3 months since AOR and I still haven't receive the PAL. I saw other applicants with the same AOR date got it within 1 to 2 months. My AOR date is Jan 8. Is that normal?

Yes, it is. At the moment they are processing AORs for October applicants, so AOR for January Applicants will be out probably by July-August. I applied on January 29th.

Sounds like solid progress on your application. My eligibility remained not started even after case closed, so it's fine. I’d positively say give it another 2–3 months for the background check to be updated.

Edit: Just don’t want to raise expectations too soon. Background checks can sometimes take longer, especially for folks with more extensive histories like travel, work, or personal histories. No guarantee here, but I rarely see standard non-ee takes 21 months to FDs. Stay positive, it'll come eventually.

My medical has expired today, and my security screening has been in progress since April 2024, and my GC key account now shows that my Application/Profile has been updated. Once I clicked, the section for medical is blank, and on the top, Application Status shows that we are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update. There is no date or anything on the top. Before, it was showing the Latest Update and the date for the update. Has anyone experienced this? Please share your experience.
Thanks

Hi @Miss bee ,

I’m hoping someone here can help or has had a similar experience. I contacted my local MP's office regarding my PR application (OINP - Inland, Non-Express Entry), and they got back to me saying that my application was approved on March 27th. I do see the COPR number on the tracker w the expiry. However, as of today:
  1. There's no update on my GCKey account or PR Tracker
  2. I haven’t received any portal emails from IRCC or confirmation of approval
  3. No status or document change has been reflected
I’m scheduled to travel to India on May 16th, and I’m getting worried about the timing.

Does anyone know how long it usually takes for IRCC to send the approval email or COPR after it’s been marked approved internally? Is there anything I can do to follow up or speed things up?

Hi Everyone,

I have received an ADR to submit updated information in Schedule A imm5669 form. When I applied for the non-express entry OINP PR application, this form was part of the online application (though it is deemed paper based).

How do I fill/update the form? Should I download, fill, print, sign, scan and then upload it through the IRCC account? The issue I see with this method is that the fields are limited and if I'm to add more info there isn't much space.

Also, should I just include the information they've requested or include the previously submitted info plus the newly requested info?

Below is an extract of the ADR:

"SCHEDULE A: a separate and newly completed schedule a background declaration form (imm 5669) bearing an original signature please update the information in the personal history from august 2024 to current date. in the address history, update the information from march 2024 to current date. be sure to sign and date the application. this must be received at this office by: 2025/05/22"

Appreciate your comments and suggestions.

Thank you!

Yes, fill -> print -> sign by hand->then scan. If you do not have enough space, you can attach a sheet/page with extra info/explantion and combine the extra pages/sheet with the Schedule A imm5669 form and upload them as one file ( follow the instructions at the top of the Schedule A imm5669 form. "If there is not enough space to provide all necessary, attache to this form ...." )

Include the previously submitted info, plus the newly requested info.

Do kai method

Can I ask you all question? I really need your help.
When I submitted my application, I didn’t pay the biometric fee because I thought the biometrics I provided before were still valid for 10 years, so I assumed I didn’t need to give new ones.

Is there any way I can pay the biometric fee now and inform IRCC, so it won’t delay the processing of my application?

There is one way if you pay the Biometric Fee now and send the receipt through the Webform to IRCC and explain it there, I hope they will consider it through webform.
