My wife is currently working as an Accounts Payable Technician with a specific wage. Her employer wants to promote her and offer a salary increase. Given that she is employed under an LMIA (Labour Market Impact Assessment), is it possible for her to move into a different position and receive a higher salary within the same company? Or is it advisable to stay in the same position, before getting PR? Is it possible to get a higher wage instead? We applied for our PR 21 months ago.
I have applied for NON EE PNP under the OINP (PhD Graduate Stream). My application is with the IRCC and I have received an AOR early January 2025. In December 2024, I have started another position within the same company that I work at. Do I need to inform IRCC of this change in position within same company?
Does the dependent's background check usually take significantly longer after the main applicant's process is complete, or is it not a major factor in the overall timeline?
I was able to log in to the tracker today after a long time of unsuccessful attempts.
Found out there's some document number in eCOPR section, does it mean something?
(where it says about Confirmation of Permanent Residency (COPR) details
When you’re approved for permanent residence in Canada, you'll get a Confirmation of Permanent Residence document. Below are details about this document.)
I noticed I had some errors on my schedule A form so I submitted a webform with the fixed document. The thing is I noticed that my projected date for AOR is coming soon, so I fear that I might be a bit too late. Doubly worried since I don't have my TFN.
Does anyone here know how long does it take for the submitted webform to be reflected on your application?
@Miss bee Your input would be greatly appreciated.

@Miss bee - I had one more question my OINP expires March 3rd can I still apply for Work permit even though processing time is 125 days ? Or will IRCC refuse the application once OINP expires on March 3rd 2025
