Hi!

Please, when the person receives the Nomination (OINP International student job offer), she has 6 months to apply for PR? or only 60 days?

Thank you for your help!
Nomination is valid for 6 Months. If you don’t apply PR application before it , you have to apply PNP application application again.

Hello @everyone,

I just called IRCC to get the status of my application.

The last update of my application was Medical passed on Jan 4, 2025.

My PVO is Winnipeg & SVO is Sydney, Nova Scotia

The agent also mentioned they are reviewing my Eligibility and BG Check.

My application details are in my signature.

Is anybody in the same boat? Is anybody here with the same PVO, SVO combo?

Since you already passed your medical in September 2024, receiving your Pre-Arrival Letter (PAL) depends on the stage of your eligibility and background verification. PAL is usually issued after the eligibility assessment is marked as “passed.” Based on your provided timeline:
1. Eligibility Status: If eligibility is still not started or in progress, receiving a PAL may take longer

General Timeline Insights:
• PAL is often issued 2–6 months after medicals are passed, but this can vary based on case complexity, visa office workloads, and background checks.
• Given your current stage, you may receive your PAL by February to April 2025 if your eligibility is processed soon.
You can also follow up with IRCC via a webform or request GCMS notes for detailed updates on your application’s progress.

I need advice!!!

I submitted my nonEE PR application on Nov 2024. Right now my CRS score is 530. I'm hoping to get drawn in EE.

My question is if I get drawn in EE, can I cancel my nonEE application? Will I get a refund?
OR, If I get AOR before being drawn in EE, can I also cancel it?

I will choose EE because EE will be faster than nonEE.
You can apply multiple PR application under different categories and whichever gets approved first, they will automatically cancel your other applications. If processing has been on other applications, they won’t refund processing fees but they will refund Right to Permanent residence Fees . I would suggest you to apply for EE Pr application as well as there is no harm . You have to submit up to date documents including medical and PCC .

I have send webforms to them and they are saying my application is still under process and also my contact details when I check on pr tracker showed a wrong phone number so I submitted a webform to change to my correct phone number and I received and email back saying that my number has been updated but in PR tracking it still not updated should I send another webform?

If they acknowledge then it’s all good . Don’t worry about tracker as it takes time to get updated. You should also order your GCMS notes and see if you are stuck in comprehensive security check.
