Hello all,

I received my MPNP nomination on October 30, 2024. In my nomination letter, it stated, "Please note this nomination is not valid for Express Entry." As a result, I applied and submitted my PR application under Non-Express Entry on November 5, 2024. Currently, the status of my PR application is "Submitted." My PGWP expires on October 22, 2025, and I am concerned that it may expire before I receive my PR approval, especially since the current processing time is 20 months. Could you please advise me on what steps I can take while I wait?
At this point, there is nothing you can do – wait! While you might receive your AOR earlier, the typical processing time is 4-6 months. As for your PGWP, it’s still too early to take any action. If, by October, you have not received any updates or notice that your application is progressing slowly, it would be best to contact IRCC directly. Also, others here who have had similar experiences may be able to share helpful advice!

Hello everyone,

I have a question regarding my PR application (Non-Express Entry PNP OINP)

As we know current processing time is 20 months. Now my application date is July 30, 2024 and I received my AOR and BIL on January 10, 2025.

So, these 20 months processing from the date of application or from the date of AOR?

Can somebody please confirm?
There is no way to confirm that with certainty – all we can do is speculate. I rely on the information provided on the IRCC website, which states that processing times reflect the most recent updates. As of January 8, the site mentions: 'This processing time is how long we expect it will take us to process an application if we receive it today.' Given this, I don’t believe extending someone's application (like yours, which is already being processed) would make sense by an additional 20 months. I hope you will receive yours by mid-year at the latest. Fingers crossed!

If you received an adr request, the email contains the agent's number. That's how we found out and created the group. See which one is your agent. Tell me and I'll pass the link on to you. There are 10 groups in total.
Hi
Can you tell me what my agent is and is there a group?

Hi all, I submitted my OINP application last November and I'm still waiting for any updates. I changed my address this month and I saw that I should submit a form to update it, however, that form asks me for my application number that should start with "EP". Now my question is that I did not find any application number or the PR website, do I check the box that says " I do not know my application number ", or should I put my file number that starts with JOIS?

Check the box for no application number and use your UCI.

No , you did absolutely right thing . This will not impact your application process. If your restoration application is refused, then it will be huge problem but for now everything is normal so don’t worry. Wait for few months and your work permit will be approved.

Hi @Miss bee , just to thank you for your help: yesterday I received the status restoration and I have Work Permit again (I confirmed it in the portal but I have not received any mails). It was a long wait (since September 18) but it is now resolved. Just need to keep moving the PR forward but it's fine, one step at a time. Thank you very much!
