I am in the process of filing out the forms for "1111" please advice on below questions.

Here is the list-

1. What is National Identity Document?
2. How to calculate number of years of education, 6 for school, 6 secondary, and 5 at college= 17 yr, is it ok?
3. What to mention in current occupation, Tax Consultant II? Is it ok?
4. What to write in Intended occupation?
5. Dependent's Personal Detail- should I add parents here? Or leave it blank?
6. Additional dependent & decleration of common law union forms, are they mandatory to fill?
7. IMM 5669( background form) question 6- mother's family name at birth? Do we need any proof for this?
8. Order of education- recent on top? Is it ok?
9. In education should I mention about school 10&12?
10. Personal information- extra sheet needs to be attached, what is to be written on form, and is there any format with you?
11. Membership or Association with organizations, what does it refer to?
12. For relative question in schedule 3 form, ques-10, should I tick on brother? As there is no option for cousin? What do you suggest?
14. Ques 11- how much to write in assets? And in settlement funds?
15. Ques 12- experience and NOC- i found out my retail experience NOC as "6211" but its not in open category, is it fine?
16. Additional family info form, do i need to fill this one?

I think you should declare it. Remember that purposely withholding information can be considered material misrepresentation and PR status even after granted can be revoked with a ban placed on you for 2 years.

How do we get to know till which date of applications are processed?

I have applied under NOC0111, i'm a Chartered Accountant but have applied under 0111 as i have been handling both finance and accounts and my designation has been finance manager for past 6 years.

I'm so worried will i be able to make it or not. It is been more than 60 days that my application has reached the CIO - NS.

Any one who can let me know what are the chances of making to it.

HI everyone,

I am also intending to apply under 0111. I did B.Com, Masters in Economics & Finance and additionally I have a certification of "Certified Financial Consultant" (CFC).

My query is I am working in a bank as Sr. Officer Operational Risk which covers the entire bank including Finance Operations Risk management. Moreover, my JD is more similar to 0111 main responsibilities but not limited to Financial management.

Can anyone guide me that the category I am applying for is correct.

Received PER for NOC 1111 today (Nov 14th). Application receipt by CIC on Jun 30th. Credit Card charged on Nov 4th.

Visa Office: CPC Ottawa. Any idea how long it would take for the next step in the process (Medical Exam Request?)

work exp overlap

Hello all,

I have 4 years exp, 2 years is classified under NOC 1112 (financial analyst) and other 2 years under 0111 (other financial managers), as max cap for NOC 1112 is already reached, can i choose to apply under NOC 0111 and claim 19 points, i.e points for all 4 years?

If i am issued workpermit under 0111, am i entitled to work only under that occupation in canada or i can take up any jobs ?.

Please help brother.

Yes, I did. I applied in May 2014, so I sent copies of my payslips for January thru April 2014 along with my experience letter. I even attached original business cards for myself and for person signing the experience letter.

Yes you can apply, as long as your job duties on the experience letter you will provide matches closely with the NOC description. The type of degree you currently have isn't considered as much as the job duties you've been performing in the specified NOC for at least a year.

Congratulations! +1 for sharing. Please register your details in the FSW2014 spreadsheet if you haven't done so already. You can find the links and instructions in my signature below.

Based on the data accumulated in that same spreadsheet, the average time from PER to medical request for CPC Ottawa is 32 days so hang tight, you'll get it soon. Remember, however, that each person's case is different and hence timelines will vary.

Hi

Yes, 0111 is the route for you. You can get points for both 1112 AND 0111 if you include the requisite experience letters for each job.

Once you become a permanent resident, you can take up any job you can get. Just recall that regulated jobs will require getting a license, but you can actually start the licensing process from your home country.

Dear All,
Please guide me what to do.

My current employer is not willing to issue me my Official JD on company's letter head but he is allowing me to submit my official JD (which is not on letter head) along with my application. would that be sufficient to proof my experience.

Moreover, my actual job responsibilities are far more than what mentioned in my official JD and it is not clearly matching with the main responsibilities mentioned under my featured NOC 1212. For this purpose I am attaching statutory declaration explaining the reason for not providing JD on letter head + explanation on JD responsibilities such as:

Official JD says - You have to perform xyz task.
I explained - Under this duty I am doing 123 work.

Would it be OK?
