Hi all, I bumped into this thread for some assistance on identifying the right NOC code for my profile.
I'm a Senior Manager in the Operational Risk Department, working for a financial but non-banking firm. Primary responsibilities include:
conducting risk assessments and performing controls testing
managing issues and overseeing mitigation plans
implementing operational risk framework and policies
developing and monitoring key risk indicators for the firm's Risk Appetite
developing operational risk procedures
partnering with Business Units to ensure adherence of risk management standards
Although I'm part of the middle management, I'm confused if I should choose 0111 as its primarily inclined to financial statements, budgeting and accounting which is not my domain. I'm thinking if I should go with 1114 as the majority of my role is towards 'examining' the controls and 'investigating' root causes of operational risk issues.
Would really appreciate anyone's help who had a similar profile and had their submission approved recently. Many thanks!

I have done B.com (Bachelors of Commerce 2 years in Pakistan) in 2010 and then started ACCA which was completed in 2018. I started doing a full-time job in 2013 as an Internal Auditor. My total work experience is around 8 years to date.
When I select NOC 1111 (Financial Auditors and Accountants) that requires me to only claim an experience which is after ACCA membership but in that case, my profile submission eligibility fell short by 2 points. Now, I have learned that NOC 0111 (financial Manager) also acknowledges Internal Auditors after bachelor.
Kindly guide me, is it ok to go with NOC-0111 and claim my total experience?
