Hi,My name is Lohita, and I applied for my Dependent Spousal PR in March 2023. It’s been nearly a year and a half, and I have not yet received my PR. I completed my biometrics and medicals in June 2023. I was in India until June 14, 2024, and on June 15, 2024, I arrived in Canada on a visiting visa as I was not receiving any updates on my PR.
After arriving in Canada, I received a second medical request in July 2024, which I promptly completed and submitted within two days. I also received a pre-arrival letter in June 2024. Despite these updates, my IRCC tracker was last updated in September 2023, and it does not reflect the recent medical request or the pre-arrival letter.
I am concerned about the lack of progress and updates regarding my PR application. Is this a common situation, or are others facing similar delays? I would appreciate any guidance on how to proceed, as it’s been over a year since I applied, and two months since I’ve been in Canada, yet I still haven’t received any updates on my PR status.
