This is crazy. Her case is a peculiar one! Now am beginning to wonder why they held her passport for 6months. And she didn't bother calling to ask? AVO I hail them.

No reason! They responded to my application that it's still on queue. But looking also at ur own profile don't u think its misleading? Pls let's post the right info on our profile so others can draw meaningful conclusions. Thanks

I didnt mean it to be mis-leading but if it is miss-leading to you then it must be for many others. I will edit my profile in that case. Those dates were mere estimates.

Yes it is, ok thanks that's a good idea. Pls edit so that I can also draw a timeline from ur application process too. The last person I know off on this forum did medicals January and got ppr this sept. The process has changed a whole lot so from the right profile one can draw conclusion when to expect ppr or mr or prv irrespective of d different cases but same AVO. Stay blessed.

What could they possibly be checking for 9 months. Do you think they are re-checking all our documents all over. Academic mark sheets, bank statements and work experience letters?

Before may 2013 PPR after MR takes max of 4mths, but since they started handling other applications aside PRV from naija it took a snail speed to complete a PRV application. Also like u rightly said it takes time to check background information, bank statements et cetera.
U don't need to. So long u don't have any other additional dependants. But follow the checklists if the form is also meant for ur spouse and she has additional dependants u might wanna fill it. It's ur choice n call.
You will need to mail your electronically generated receipt to cic with all your details or print and mail. It will still take some 3days to settle your payment. I am sure there is a detailed info on cic website. Please check.

After paying the RPRF online, how will you inform your local visa office of the payment?
I NEED URGENT HELP
Is there any Diploma nurse (FROM SCHOOL OF NURSING) in this forum who did (or anybody you know) his/her Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) with ICAS or UoT (CES)?
Please urgently contact me inbox and let me know what your ECA report reads on your credential's Canadian Equivalence.
Let me see if I can apply to either of them to get another ECA report.
WES issued my ECA report and the Canadian Equivalence reads'' Three years of hospital study and training" instead of ''Three year diploma in Nursing" which is alien to any Canadian educational qualification . I have appealed to them for correction but unfortunately they have blatantly refused.

You mean one have to send the receipt to AVO through courier or regular mail! That's serious. AVO don't have an email to receive such a single document.
