Received my oath ceremony invitation this morning!! October 3rd is the big day, hooray!! The application tracker hasn't been updated and is still showing the citizenship ceremony as " not started" and my application is still "in progress". I'm guessing that it will update in the next few days.

I did my test on Sept 7 but it's still showing in progress. How long does it take to get updated to "completed"?

It's completed today with date of Sept 8.

Got the Oath invite yesterday. Here is the timeline

Applied Online: 25th March. (single application)

AOR received : 12th April.

Background Verification Complete: 29th May

Test Invite: 21st July ( Test window 28th July to 17th August)

Test Taken: 13th August.

Test Marked as complete: 14th August ( Updated on 15th August on the tracker)

LPP marked as complete: 15th August. (Updated on 17th August on the tracker)

E-certificate Email: 9th Sept.

Oath Email and invite: 11th Sept.

Online Oath Scheduled for 3rd Oct.

What should I look for in my gcms notes? Looks like my primary office is actually Sydney and secondary is Niagara. There's a Nov 30 deadline - hope I get an oath invite before that!

I'm in the same boat.. LPP completed since Sep 4. Not sure when to expect an oath update...

So this is an email explaining how to download your certificate after the oath. Some offices will send this email after oath and some (like Niagara) usually send it before oath invite. It’s kind of nice to receive it ahead of time. It lets you know that an oath invite is just around the corner.

Almost 6 months now since the last update on my application. I know it's "non-routine" because they requested fingerprints, but the fingerprints were just for the background check, which has been cleared since March...

I’m really sorry that you have been waiting so long. But know that once you finally start moving it will move so quickly. Keeping my fingers crossed that you hear something soon.
