What do you mean by maximum number of years of stay?
My guess is with the new portal they expect your pr application is already well under way? Plus if i’m not mistaken for trv application you can do biometrics and medical up front?
I didn’t show any home ties, this new stream is to reunite family members so I don’t think it is necessary to provide home ties, also they issuing a WP for spouse under this, so why should I show home ties to them

Same with me. I guess the bio and background check reflecting right away is system generated. If you already have bio it will integrate automatically in prtracker. What I do not understand is why not the same for medical.
Not really sure. I asked to know before putting in another application for my wife. The previous one since Jan 2022 is still being treated in a local VO. So was thinking if it is still going to be moved to a local VO then it makes no sense applying again.
But if not , I think our chances of getting a TRV may be a bit higher as our spouse visa application is in progress having AOR+SA+Medical(partially done)

Yes since Jan 2022. The first one was refused around Dec 2021 and we submitted another immediately after we met the reason of refusal. Ever since then, we didn’t hear from them. So I am not really sure if it will make any difference submitting another application with this TRV new measure
