Since the previous minister Sean Fraser announced new measures for family reunification, and as someone with ongoing PR spousal sponsorship application (I have AOR, SA, CSQ, biometrics and medicals done), my TRV applied on June 16 still got rejected, although I proved ties to my home country.
Reason of rejection is not convinced i will leave canada bcz strong ties to Canada, no ties to my country, and inconsistent with temporary stay.
I really need the help of someone who applied and got approved: did you just mention the announcement of Minister Fraser, saying you wanna apply for OWP once in Canada and wait for PR, or you said you will be coming back to your home country and showed strong ties?
I am worried that maybe because I tried proving strong ties to my home country, my application was not considered as per the new announcement of May 26th and was processed like a normal TRV hence why the rejection.
