Visa office. Definitely not #of applicants. I have spouse and dependants. But I got it in a day.

My Portal email was sent from Calgary, but not sure if it's the same for eCOPR

Yes, the same happened to a few old geezers on this thread. The photo itself is for the PR card. The only thing they need for the COPR’s approval is your solemn declaration that you are in Canada. They’ll just ask you to resubmit the photo if it’s rejected.

I got my ECOPR my brothers and sisters ! Omg stressful and never ending journey! This is it guys! Today is the day of the May! They finally decided to open up these files!

my timeline
Aor: sept 2020
First email: May 25 2021
Second email: May 26,2021 ( replied same day)
Copr: july 13th

note* my scenario was different. It says become Pr on Copr day issued to me. not on day I got first email.*

also I noticed the processing application status > immigration section timeline.
It says finalizing application sept 6-sept 12 ( my aor is in that timeline ).Don’t know if VLU OSC follows that schedule to issue copr

Say what!!! Congrats, brother!! Canadians better watch out because we now have another maple-syrup-drinking, hockey-loving badass permanent resident roaming the local cul-de-sacs!!

I ve been in this thread like every day to reas about ecopr timelines.

At one point in my mind, I was like ‘give them ecopr already for christ sake!!!’, instead of worrying about mine.

I really do pray for yours finalizing soon.

Do we know what determines how fast COPRs are issued? # of dependants? Visa Office..?

We go by the number of prayers made over here and nothing else because only God knows the answer to your question, mate!

If your husband is outside Canada, they will send COPR and PPR after the travel restrictions are lifted and/or about to be lifted. This is the more logical thing that would happen.

not quite understand these travel restrictions... What are they??? Many people are getting emails to send passports for the visa stamp and already fly to Canada. What are the travel restrictions for PR people...? SO frustrating

I know how you feel! I’m waiting 55 days now just for the COPR and I’m inland. I’ve been separated from my SO for almost 2 years now because of this travel restriction. Just hang in there, the end of this long dark tunnel is nigh!
