Hi mate !! To update IRCC on the web form you need to select the " Replacement Documents ......." option . If you got the COPR before your new passport no need to update that. But if not, you need to mention the new passport. As COPR contains the details of passport number. I am informing you as I passed through the same situation earlier.

Hey @amitesh, thanks so much! I haven’t got the CoPR yet but at least now I won’t get a departure order for running out of status!
I did submit the web form with the new passport but I picked “Permanent Residence (Applied Online)” option. I think this should be alright, or do you think I should resubmit it with the “replacement document” option you recommended? Did you get a response from IRCC for the web form you submitted, and if so, how long did it take them to do this?

Hey, I don't think you need to submit again. There is no problem with that option as well. I got a response in the email from IRCC after 5 business days that received the document and forwarding to the responsible office.

Yes, the same happened to a few old geezers on this thread. The photo itself is for the PR card. The only thing they need for the COPR’s approval is your solemn declaration that you are in Canada. They’ll just ask you to resubmit the photo if it’s rejected.

Hey guys so the MP replied after enquiring about my application,
IRCC has confirmed that they received all the information from the portal,
And there is a last review that they have to do,
The MP asked to keep monitoring the application progress and if it took more than a month, I should reach out to them again.
so let’s see.
