New Instructions from IRCC for applications before 7th Sep 2021

Received passport request right after posting this.
Applied initially thru gckey and new app is thru portal.

Eligibility review never started, biometrics were linked the same day when I applied thru the portal and no other update until today

I applied today for my newborn son's visit visa for first time on IRCC portal. Me and my wife are PR. I'm in canada, my wife is in Pakistan. Any idea which visa office is handling visit visa applications for pakistanis?

Is this a Yes or No ?

New to forum

I want to post my experience with IRCC
-Applied thru (my account cic) on sep 13 for my mother first time. She had a prior trv
-received a passport request letter October 5, 2021
-I uploaded invite letter, NOA, prior visa, my pay stubs , my PR card , proof of relationship , and vaccination records (although not required fro parents)
- asked for Can + processing
- country : Colombia

Congrats, I applied on oct 3 and still biometrics are not connected.

I have applied for my parents and got UCI number today only for my father (main applicant). is that normal?

I applied for my mother and sister as a group. My mother has received a uci and BIL but my sister didn't receive it. I am confuse how this new portal works.

You are talking about visitor visa for your Spouse right who is Outland? If so the Spouse Outland application is present right. Then above question will be "Yes"

I submitted my first application in May 28,2021 for supervisa for parents. I have already emailed cic to prioritize application

You can use the same old if no changes ... its not easy to again create new forms especially parents.. same old ones will work as your referencing UCI of prior application

They haven't linked my biometrics in my second application yet - it has been more than a week now.
