Hearty congratulations Jacob!

It looks like the issuing of visa is in the order of passport and med submission dates..and it takes approxi. 2 months...

After submitting your passport, how many days did CHC take to encash the landing fee cheque and when did they send the acknowledgment?

thanks pshhe, i sent my rprf on 15 october and i got the acknowledgement reciept on 1 dec( but on the reciept, the dispatched date written is 21 oct) it was postal delay

hi ankit many thanks to u brother. ur calculation were perfect. i calculated dates as per ur observations and calculations and u were 100 % right. hats off to ur brain man . m plannig to land in mid jan (if all goes well) but before leaving, i wud like others to group before landing. some of us may hav common goals and we can be of help to each other( ek aur ek gyarah principle )

First of all congrats., I submitted my passport to new delhi on 15.nov.2010, How did you got ur passport thro' Speed post or private courier? Have they informed you before sending? How long before your online status changed?

thanks Dr.. i think its the registered post. coz my mom opened the packet and i was not at home that time. No they had not informed before sending. my online status changed after 8 days of vissue issueance. in my case embassy took 32 days + 8 postal days.

They identify the mistake owner to verify whether you need to pay fees gain or not.
Your Mistake - you Pay full fees again
Their Mistake- No fees

One page correction form is there, if it is their mistake you get it in 3 days. Meet the PP officer and discuss your case

So it turned out that it was their fault and they made an endorsement stating how the gender should read.
I had to submit just a ltr on plain paper. I got the corrected passport the next day and the CHC has received
all the pp on Dec 2.

Pls update.

I have sent my passports to visa office 0n 14th october and got visa on 2nd december, Decision made ecas updated on 30th November.

I have got my RPRF receipt today. Date of encashment is 15-11-2010 and date of dispatch is 24-11-2010 and I got it today i.e. 6-12-2010.

it seems they are following transfer date........... if it is so thn mine is 20 jan...........lets see tomrw........
again looking at the trend ,first ppl are getting visa thn only e cas is changed , i think tomrw chances of changing status are few..............
i believe we will first get visa (this week) and coming week ecas will change to decision made...... what is your opinion ?????
