Any idea if receiving the receipt of landing fee means a confirmation that your file is undergoing a process or anything of that sort?

hi friends i have an update . yesterday i have received my landing papers and stamped passport from the embassy
visa issue date is 29th nov 2010. Status changed to decision made on 30th nov. My time lines are below

sent to vo- 6 may
2nd file no 16 may
inprocess 28 sept
file transfer date 20 jan
med and ppr recieved 1 oct
med done and ppt submitted 13 oct
visa issued 29th nov ( i hav got visa papers and stamped ppt by chc on 3rd dec by mail )

m very happy now. thanks to all the members who hav supported me all the time.god bless us all. this site is really very very helpful. thanks for the support my dear members.

That means I have 45 days deadline which is December 15th.

I did my medicals on 2nd December and DMP informed that they will send the results in 8-10 days so that means they will send results by around 10 or 12th of December and it might take 2-4 days to reach ottawa.

I am going to submit passport on Dec 10th so it will reach CHC ND on 13th or 14th Dec.

Now will VO open my file on December 15th and see if all documents are placed.....

I doubt my medicals report might have not reached by that time so when next it will be considered to open vo.How the BFD will work in this case.

Can someone throw light on my queries....

Didn't login for a while... so I have resubmitted the passports after the correction of my daughter's gender wrongly entered as "Male". It just took them 2 days.

Guys anybody registered for the CIIP to be held in Mumbai Dec 14-16th? I have signed up for it. Have'n't got the details yet though...
