@Suruchi
No worries. I applied for my own permanent residency in 2008/2009 under AINP-PNP-H1B stream. I got that in 2010. I remember the waiting period to be as long as 2 years.
After 6 years, I applied for my wife. This time wait is/was for 6-7 months.
In between, I applied for renewal of my PR card in Nov 2016. Associated wait was for 3 months.
It appears to me that when it comes to immigration, we should learn how to handle wait. The best way to wait is to keep oneself busy in other things.
I am a Sep 23 applicant. Received interview call for end of May. Can anyone share their experience with interview and how long it takes after the interview to get ppr? Senior members please share your insights
Good to see it's moving forward. Hopefully will have our turn soon. What does your GC key shows? Does it mention medical results received and BC has started? You should have your medical done upfront.

Remember all the dates u umentioned in the forms, take all possible original proof, photos etc. For interview.
Any new developments in past 6-7 month's after you submitted your application even take that.
And even they can ask u random question about in-law job's and other personal question.
How does one get an interview call? do you receive an email or phone call or just on gckey/ecas account? looks like sept is the worst month. getting after oct and nov and now more interviews.
