I applied for GCMS notes and it's been around 45 days and still waiting for them. when i inquired about it they put it on priority but after that no response.

how lone does it usually takes, to get the GCMS notes?

Said we are ready to finalize your application and we need your passport. Again the part that confuses me is that the file has to be in Delhi within 30 days but if I send to Ottawa as per the instructions is that fine? Like will they forward to Delhi or just work on file in Ottawa?

So you didn't get any background check or decision made?

I'm Canadian born this application was for my wife. I'm not sure about background and all that as we used an immigration lawyer to be safe so think they handled that. We had a pretty good file with ample evidence of genuine relationship, including her visiting me in Canada after marriage. I was lucky as my wife was given multi entry trv after the wedding, so she's come to Canada twice and is currently with me. Usually I heard about people getting refused trv if their spouse is in Canada ....I took a shot and luckily was approved.
Talked to lawyers today and they said same thing you did, they will send to Ottawa for me. I came here for second opinion incase the lawyer was saying my wife had to go back to India.

I live in Canada & my wife in India.I have applied for her PR from outside Canada can I call her on tourist visa until her passport request comes. Is it legal. what are the possibilities of her getting request for an interview?

BG Check?

My status was updated as medical recieved last Friday after there is no update.
Does that meanz my medical is clear or again my medical will be updated as medical passed.please advice.
