Application received at CIC-M: 18-April-2016
AOR from CIC-M: 06-May-2016
AOR NDVO: 31-May-2016
The strange part is I haven't received my Sponsorship approval yet. Shouldn't that come before I received an AOR from NDVO ???
Maybe they've started doing things in parallel after doing a quick prelim check to speed up the process.

I know that doesn't seem promising and i can't rationalize it the better way;working on 2014 and 2015 application to reduce block logs or cic called back the extra IO being hired recently or background and criminality check batches taking long to come back!
Johnny please let me know if they approve your TRV. I am thinking to apply for my husband TRV too. I am on 43 day mark tomorrow so hopefully will receive my SA soon!

I am new to this forum, Good to know that processing times are improved drastically. Here are my stats:
Application Received: 1-April-2016
AOR1 Received:26-April-2016
SA Received: 03-June-2016
I have one question: I didn't do upfront medical Should I submit it now using my Application number as reference or should I just wait until they ask for it. In SA it does say if you did not submit your medical upfront it may delay your application. Does anybody know the process to Submit medical in-between the process? is it a good Idea?

The way to send it is via courier writing a cover letter with your name, app#, UCI# and DOB.
You can also send it via Case specific inquiry.
If you don't submit your medical now and wait for them to ask you for it then it will DEFINITELY DELAY YOUR FILE for a few months.
Also, I have heard that they are trying to clear all the backlog by August. After that they might slow their process down to 6 month processing times. Currently for 2016 applicants it is like 2-3 month processing.
